My name is Chloe Gibson, I have lived in Nottingham since I was 5 years old and have worked in sport for the majority of my working life. I went to West Bridgford Comprehensive School and then onto Clarendon Collage where I studies Beauty Therapy, very quickly I realised that this was not what I wanted to do and got myself in the working world.
I began my career as a trainee accountant with The Tennant group, but realised my passion was with sport and so found a job working as a business support officer with sports coach UK. I was with sports coach UK for a couple of year but wanted to move in to an National Governing Body role. I then started working for England Netball and was Regional Coordinator for the East Midlands and was with England Netball for over 3 years. I then took the plunge to work in a sport I knew nothing about and spent 8 and a half years at Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club, during this time I worked on a T20 world cup, 2 Ashes test series and achieved a new Guinness world record. I joined the FITC team in April 2017.
Netball is my passion and my sport, I still play myself and coach numerous age group teams. I have been very fortunate to coach player who have represented England and are currently playing Superleague netball. The 2016 / 2017 netball season has seen me achieve one of my coaching goals and after 20 years of trying I have succeeded in getting a team to national Finals.
If I have any spare time after all the Netball, I enjoy meeting up with friends, having girlie nights out and going on walks with my dog, Daisy. My favourite holiday destination is Tenerife.
