Growing up I attended Sir Thomas Boughey High School in Stoke-on-Trent. I then moved onto complete a BTEC Sport course at N-U-L College, after successfully completing the course I went on to complete a degree in Sports and Coaching studies. Coaching two university teams along the way, my final year of studying was 2013/14 where I completed a Masters level PGDE specialising in Sport.
Whilst completing this I worked for Bolton Wanderers FC, delivering education courses to academy players and community groups. Upon finishing my PGDE I was offered a role as Education Officer at Queens Park Rangers FC and Brentford FC in June 2014 where I was responsible for delivering BTEC Sport, NVQ Sport, Maths, English and also player mentoring. Which brings me to my current role, leaving QPR to join the Notts County Education department, where my role involves delivering BTEC Sport to two year groups.
My day to day role involves practical and theoretical delivery to the learners, as well as marking and tracking progress. My aim is to develop and expand the department as well as developing the learners into well-mannered individuals with ambitions for their academic and professional futures.
