Maximise your PE and sport funding

Notts County Football in the Community and newly unveiled community partner, The Broadway Cinema are proud to announce the launch of our Primary School event ‘Maximising your PE and Sports Funding’, on Tuesday 14th November 2017.

The event, hosted by Notts County FITC and The Broadway cinema, will commence at 1:15pm and will update you on how we can support your curriculum through high-quality sport and physical activity opportunities. These include PE lessons, teacher CPD opportunities and how we use sport as a vehicle to enhance other curriculum areas such as PSHE, Maths and Literacy.

With special guest Dan Freedman, Author of CBBC’S Jamie Johnson and FITC Reading Ambassador will be in attendance to discuss our Reading Stars programme, developed by the National Literacy Trust to engage reluctant readers, using sport related resources.

Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to talk to our coaches and mentors about how your school can benefit from our FREE curriculum and personal development workshops can benefit your pupils. Come and experience interactive workshops which encourage physical activity, promote nutritional education and build awareness of the importance of a healthy diet and active lifestyle in your school on Tuesday 14th November 2017.

Lunch will be provided at 2:15pm when there will be plenty of opportunities to discuss our programmes in Nottingham with staff from Notts County FC Football in the Community and the Premier League.
