Meet the new man in charge for public fundraising at Football in the Community

My name is James Bromley and I am the new Partnerships and Events Executive for Notts County FC Football in the Community [FITC].

As I’m sure you’re all aware, FITC is a multi-award winning charity that delivers a wide range of sport related projects to the wider community of Nottingham.  We work with some of the most disadvantaged and vulnerable people in Nottingham.

Projects include; cancer rehabilitation, mental health, working age dementia and healthy lifestyles among many others.  Our aim is to provide life-changing opportunities to these people in order to improve their health, aspirations, confidence, behaviour, education, opportunities to socialise and support others back into employment.

So here’s where you come in. My role is to develop relationships with local businesses and organisations alongside committed volunteers that want to get involved and help us raise the funds to continue the amazing work that we do and look at developing new and exciting projects for the benefit of the local community. So, if you run your own business or work for a company that is keen to make a difference to local people and would be interested in becoming a Community Partner with FITC then contact me now so that we can discuss the endless opportunities that are open to you. In addition, I’d be delighted to speak with any individuals, groups or companies that would be interested in fundraising for us. This can range from taking part in a scheduled event such as a run or swim through to setting up your own fundraising initiative such as a Quiz, Cake sale or anything else that takes your fancy.

As a Community Partner or individual fundraiser you will receive support from us to make the Partnership work for everyone and most importantly enable FITC to continue to reach more people, affect more lives and have a greater impact on the community in Nottingham.

If you’d like to discuss anything further or you would like to share ideas please feel free to contact me on 0115 955 7215 or even pop into the Football in the Community Offices at Meadow Lane next to the Broken Wheelbarrow.
