Today it has been confirmed that FITC and Nuffield Health Nottingham have agreed to a 12 month Community Partnership aiming to work together to provide the local community with support through health and wellbeing.
The Partnership will involve support in fundraising events and combining Nuffield Health’s experience and expertise alongside the Charity’s long history of providing first class activities for some of the most vulnerable people in Nottingham to provide amazing opportunities for the local area.
Ben Wragg Duty Manager at Nuffield Health Nottingham Said:“We are pleased with this exciting new opportunity that has come about and looking forward to the next 12 months. To be working with FITC alongside the World’s Oldest Football League Club is an amazing opportunity and one that will hopefully benefit both parties in the long run. We look forward to being involved in community projects within the Nottingham area and helping getting the nation fitter and more active. I look forward to be working with James and the FITC team and announcing many exciting and new projects in the near future together”
As part of this Partnership, alongside other events, Nuffield Health Nottingham have agreed to support our runners and volunteers for this year’s Robin Hood Marathon on 24th September 2017. More details to follow but this will be a huge bonus for FITC’s dedicated supporters at one of the biggest events of the year.
James Bromley, Partnerships and Events Executive for FITC said: “I’m delighted that Nuffield Health Nottingham Fitness and Wellbeing Gym have agreed to work with us over the next year to support our Charity and to collectively look at ways we can support the local community in promoting healthy lifestyles and develop our projects that cater for a huge section of society. We hope that this relationship will develop even further over time and will enhance the opportunities we can offer the people of Nottingham. With Nuffield Health’s support on a number of our Events throughout the year I’m looking forward to working with the team and I’d like to say a particular thank you to Ben and Fiona for their support in making this happen.
