Football in the Community offers a wide range of opportunities for participants to take part in sports and physical activities, especially those who may not usually be able to access activities.

School’s Out is a school holiday scheme for 8 to 15 year olds.  To help parents stay at work during the school holidays, School’s Out is an affordable and accessible project that keeps children engaged and active for seven hours a day. Running from Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm, participants are engaged in a variety of activities, ranging from football to arts and crafts and even board games.

Premier League 4 Sport allows us to start delivering Handball, Hockey and Tennis selected schools within the County.

Premier League Girl’s Football project will see FITC delivering after school sessions for individuals aged 14 and over at nine school’s around the County in partnership with local football clubs.

On Side is delivered in 3 location within the County. Football sessions will be delivered twice a week in each area for 1½ hours each, from July till March 2014.  There will also be the opportunity to take part in dance workshops.

Kicks is a projects developed by the Premier League and delivered by Football in the Community at 5 different local areas across Nottingham. It provides FREE football sessions to teenagers on a weekly basis during term-time.

Nottingham City Homes project is designed to provide sport, leisure, & education opportunities in key areas of Nottingham, & the opportunity to develop leaders within these communities for sustainability & voluntary / employment opportunities. Group sessions are offered for older adults, unemployed adults or stay at home parents, & young mums in Clifton & Bestwood.

Meadows Football is delivered at two venues in the Meadows and is for young people aged 11 to 19, who are at risk of committing crime, becoming involved in anti-social behaviour or being the victims of crime from the Meadows who we motivate and direct positively.

Team Meadows provides FREE physical activities that are delivered after school for 8 to 11 year olds in the Meadows, which is our local community.  This enables us to carry on the work we already do with children from three local primary schools (Riverside, Greenfields and Welbeck). We deliver activities at each school for a term from Monday to Friday as well as Saturday morning sessions at Portland Leisure Centre.

Matchday activities Notts County FC home fixtures see junior football clubs  from all over Nottinghamshire come to play on the Meadow Lane football pitch during half-time to entertain the crowds.

Bulwell Football is aimed at teenagers between the ages of 10 to 18 who are in danger of becoming involved in gangs from the Bulwell area. We engage them in evening football, act as role models and ensure they are involved in positive activities. Volunteers between the ages of 18 to 24 help set up sessions, assist coaches and referee matches. We work with the Police to deliver workshops around gun and knife crime; sexual health; drug and alcohol awareness, among others.

Local Care Homes project is for children and young people in care. We provide sporting opportunities multi sports & interactive activities.

Sportivate is a programme delivered in the workplace and designed to increase employee health and fitness, improving their lifestyles, leading to better results within the workplace.
