Notts County Football in the Community are challenging and requesting passionate Pies to join FITC on a fundraising walk on Saturday 17th March 2018 from Mansfield Town’s One Call Stadium to Meadow Lane.
FITC’s Mansfield To Meadows March will be used to generate vital funds to continue the award winning charitable work we do with Nottinghamshire. Upon completion of a medical form and a small registration fee of £15, each participant is entitled to our newly designed FITC t-shirt to wear during the walk, transport to the One Call Stadium and a ticket to the Notts County FC vs Mansfield Town game (1pm kick-off).
This fee can be paid in cash at the FITC office or online through our JustGiving page which can be found HERE. The estimated 17 mile walk will depart from The One Call Stadium at 6:30am with bus departure time to be confirmed and walkers can expect to arrive at the home of the pies by 12:30pm.
Steve Silver, was proud to don the famous black and white stripes as he marched through the county; “To fundraise for FITC alongside the club I love was a fantastic way for me and my fellow Notts County fans to support the outstanding work FITC do within the community” explained Steve. “After reading the advertisement in the match day magazine prior to the event I was always interested in knowing more about what FITC do. From then I have volunteered numerous times and look forward to supporting the charity in any way I can”.
