I am Nottinghamshire born and bred and I live locally with my 2 teenage sons. They are both avid Notts County fans and they play in local football, rugby and cricket teams. I too, am a keen fan of professional and grass roots sport.
With over 20 years’ experience in the commercial sector, plus 10 years’ experience in the charitable sector, I understand the need to engage the local community but also to be commercial and to ensure the programmes we deliver are viable as well as enjoyable.
I was previously the Executive Director at the National Justice Museum and the City of Caves, two prime visitor attractions in Nottingham and I look forward to this opportunity of continuing to improve the facilities and the membership at the Portland Centre.
I am passionate about our City and its history and very much look forward to growing the community projects as well as working with – and strengthening our relationship with Notts County FC and most importantly, the fans and Board.
I really hope that you will continue to support the club and the work that the FITC team do, which makes a real difference to those involved. If you wish to know more about the programmes that we run or how you can support us personally or as a business, then please do contact us and help us to make a difference.
FITC do some amazing work and I intend to build on this as well as growing our profile in the local and wider community.
