Young Professionals Sponsor FITC Charity Ball 2018

Thursday 15th November sees the return of our annual Charity Ball, which this year will be taking place in the illustrious surroundings of the 1862 suite at Meadow Lane. We’re busily working away behind the scenes to make it our best night ever, and we’re delighted this year to have the support of headline sponsors Young Professionals.

Young Professionals is an organisation that connects young people to purposeful opportunities by upskilling and providing them with the resources and inspiration to land their dream job. Set up by Derby entrepreneur Dan Miller, Young Professionals bridges the gap between businesses and potential employees with a specific aim to get 5 million young people connected with apprenticeship opportunities by 2022.

Dan believes that sponsoring the Notts County Football in the Community Charity Ball is the right fit for Young Professionals. “I’m a local lad myself, from Derby and I set my business up at 17 because I felt that careers advisors pushed me towards A Levels when I thought I would have been better suited to an apprenticeship. I want to be able engage more in Nottingham and the East Midlands where I’m from, and FITC does such great work with young people, engaging them through sport and activity. To support an organisation that connects with young people in the same way Young Professionals do is important to me.”
